Description Bay Networks presents network (WAN) interface card for ISA-bus based workstations. This eiconcard s51 is the first member of eicon technology's s-class family of wan interface - cards targeted for branch office LAN application servers. It offers a high speed interface (HSI) port and an ISDN BRI port supporting line speeds of up to 512 Kbps and 128 Kbps respectively. With this iconcard you can connect over a variety of WAN protocols such as X.25 frame relay PPP SDLC and HDLC over leased lines dial-up lines or ISDN lines. It offloads the server from low level protocol processing tasks resulting in a saving of valuable server cpu resources. The eiconcard s51 works in conjunction with Eicon technology's connectivity software and is supported by eicon technology's development tools and third-party products.
