Zoom Telephonics MultiLine

Description
The Zoom/MultiLine provides up to eight voice faxmodem modules in a single desktop case. The Zoom/MultiLine is ideal for LAN and remote access connectivity, including faxservers and computer-based voice systems. It interconnects with Zoom/Access routers, DigiBoard , Comtrol, and other multi-line serial I/O devices, and into remote access servers. Each device is independent, hot-swappable voice/faxmodem module is a Rockwell-based serial Dualmode V.90/K56flex 56, 000 Kbps or V.34 33, 600 bps voice/faxmodem with 14, 400 bps Class 1 and 2 fax, flash memory, configuration-protection and DTR-reset jumpers, Caller ID, data compression and error correction, NVRAM, and ZoomGuard Plus lightning protection. Modules support DTMF and call progress decoding for fax-on-demand and voice mail applications. Each module has an associated RJ45 connector on the back of the case as a serial port and an RJ11 jack for the telephone line interface. Each module also has a reset button and three front panel LED status indicators, which report Power/Busy, Data Carrier Detect, and Transmit/Receive. Configuration Control and Security Lock allow system administrators to lock in the functions and settings they want. For each module, a Security Lock jumper setting prevents a user from changing part or all of the modem's configuration. The Zoom/MultiLine has a robust, in-line 115/230 VAC input switching power supply, minimizing power cord clutter and multi-outlet requirements.
