Sony VAIO PCV-W20 1.8 GHz Desktop Computers Review

Sony VAIO PCV-W20 1.8 GHz

Description
Take one look at the VAIO PCV-W20 from Sony and you know it's something different. Other all-in-ones still have a keyboard taking up most of your desk, but the W10's keyboard folds up to rest on the front of the LCD assembly, freeing you to deal with paperwork and other office essentials. The optical drive, stereo speakers and tons of ports are built right into the unit. It's configured with a 1.8GHz Pentium 4 processor, a 512KB on-die L2 cache, a 60GB ATA/100 hard drive and 512MB PC2100 DDR SDRAM (expandable to 1GB). In addition to the 400MHz bus speed, the PCV-W20 includes two Type II PC Card slots, a Memory Stick slot and a 16x10x24x8 (max. speeds) CD-RW/DVD-ROM combo drive. For your communication needs, a 56K V.90 modem and 10/100BaseTX Ethernet are integrated. The SiS650 graphics with Real256 2D/3D accelerator use 32MB shared system memory to deliver fabulous visuals up to 1280 x 768 on the 15.3" Wide Aspect Ratio WXGA LCD screen. FireWire and USB 2.0 enable speedy, versatile peripheral connections. Windows XP Home Edition is pre-installed.
