In addition to the fast 12 Page Per Minute print speed, the units boast a fast first-page speed of less than 15 seconds. Its professional output quality ensures sharp, crisp and clear printing of both text and graphics. Besides its fast up to 12 Page Per Minute speed (50% faster than the HP LaserJet 1100) and true 600x600 dpi output, the HL-1240 comes with a robust 2MB of standard memory, and a 250 sheet universal paper cassette. The new commercial design of the HL-1240 also has a smaller footprint than its predecessor, making it easier to place on any desktop environment. Other improvements include an increased toner capacity and multi-platform capability.
