The HL-1270N comes network ready, right out of the box, with 10/100 Base TX Ethernet ... just turn the printer on, connect the network, configure the printer, and you are ready to print anywhere on the network. In addition to the 10/100 Base TX Ethernet and IEEE-1284 Parallel support, USB is standard on the HL-1270N. Both PC and Macintosh USB support and drivers are included. The Brother HL-1270N printer and its software are fully compatible with personal computers running the Microsoft Windows or DOS operating systems, including Windows 3.1, 95/98 and Windows NT 4.0 systems. It also supports Macintosh and Mac OS compatible operating systems - including the newer iMac and G3/G4 computers. All these drivers are standard.
