Description DuoScan is a versatile, high-resolution scanner that incorporates an innovative TwinPlate Scanning Technology, enabling users to scan reflective artwork and transparencies on independent scan beds within a single, integrated unit. Transparencies are placed on a tray, which slides into the body of the scanner. A single carriage, carrying light sources, optics, and a CCD sensor, traverses between the upper glass plate for reflectives and the transparency tray below. The only mechanical movement that occurs when you switch from reflective to transparency scanning is the rotation of the single mirror.
