The Interactive WhiteBoard is a digital electronic white board that connects to a PC and LCD projector to create a large interactive projection screen. The presenter can control the computer environment as well as annotate on the active "desktop" in real time. All program and annotation functions are transferred to the electronic pen, enabling the presenter to interact with the audience without touching the computer. User definable softkeys, conveniently located on both sides of the Interactive WhiteBoard, permit rapid launch of video, audio, graphics / text, and animation software. Touching the softkeys with the pen instantly activates preselected programs creating a cohesive and informative presentation. Microsoft NetMeeting makes it possible to collaborate in real time with remote users via videoconferencing and through the "application share" function of NetMeeting, remote users have the ability to annotate onto any shared application.
