Description The AR330 has two Ethernet connections providing organizations with security issues to maintain two separate LANs, plus one WAN or Internet connection. This configuration makes an ideal integrated and flexible way for small offices, schools and remote sites that need to have two LANs secure from each other but still utilize the same WAN router. The synchronous port auto-configures all major interfaces including RS232, X.21, and V.35, in DTE and DCE modes providing leased line support. The 2 asynchronous (RS-232) ports provide 115kbps dial-up for external modems to either backup the dedicated link or provide top-up bandwidth for the network link. Full modem control is supported and both asynchronous ports can be multi-linked with PPP for extra bandwidth.
