Description 10-Switch is a low-cost, easy to configure, 10 Mbps Ethernet switch that provides eight 10Base-T, four 10Base-2, four 10Base-FL or four single-mode fiber switched segments and accelerates LAN performance of standard shared networks by 800%. 10-Switch boosts aggregate throughput and, using non-blocking switching architecture, provides wire speed switching for each segment and ensures extremely low latency. Each port supports Half- or Full-Duplex allowing standard Ethernet connections to increase from 10 to 20 Mbps, optimizing speed and eliminating bottlenecks. 10-Switch ports can multiply workgroup bandwidth by as much as eight times, segment workgroups and give workgroup servers and "power users" their own dedicated network segments. 10-Switch ensures reliability by using "Store-and-Forward" technology that prevents bad packets from the network. It supports 8K MAC addresses, allowing ports to be either dedicated or shared. This is a 10Mbps RJ45 8port with one expansion slot for a port interface module of any media Module.
