Product Description

The Companion 5 Multimedia Speaker System from Bose is a 2.1 channel speaker system with a powerful 5.25" Acoustimass subwoofer that connects to and is driven by your computer via USB 2.0. The satellite speakers come preassembled on their stands and are powered by 2" drivers to give your music and gaming a rich sound. A wired control pod is included to let you control the volume for your computer. These features make the speakers an excellent choice to handle audio output for your computer.

Strength

nothing, except that it looked great

Weakness

TERRIBLE sound quality, weak,boomy,muffled bass, tinny highs, inaccurate midrange, excessively overpriced

Bottom Line

Don't buy it,it's a terrible buy. Terrible bang for the buck ratio. Absolutely actrocious performance. If you can still return it, return it. Avoid Bose at ALL cost!!

Strength

Small speakers, big sound. Great clarity. Loud. Simple connectivity. Convincing Virual 5.1!

Weakness

Expensive, very expensive... _ few niggles.

Bottom Line

Excellent speakers for the customer who needs a set of 2.1 speakers that will look good, and have minimal footprint but offer a close to 5.1 sound.

Great sound, Good looking, easy connectivity, small and easy to hide the accoustimas.

These speakers ROCK! I got them in the july 24 and they are amazing, the bass quality is amazing! Also great for outdoor party usage! Just connect like a ipod or zune to it and wah la dj time but with all the songs you like! Bottom line great buy but...

Control Dock is sick and bass and treble balance well together

Weakness

Expensive but by them if you have nothing else to do with your money:P
