Summary

I decided to relocate. Renting a truck and movers would not be necessary as all I was moving was my desktop computer from the office to another room in the house. Unfortunately the Internet was further away than I was willing to stretch that nice blue...

Strength

easy setup, sleek looks, value

Weakness

software that wasn't worth the CD it was burned to

Bottom Line

One of few computer devices that works just by plugging it in, but if you want to configure it you may want to bring out the geek inside of you.

Summary

I bought my D-Link DIR 615 wireless router from Fry's in Burbank California in March 2008. I have been pleasantly surprised at every turn. As a home computer gadgeteer, I realized that I would have to purchase and install a "router" in order to get...

Summary

This is highly intermittent. Sometimes a reset, per the manual, will completely reset the DIR-615A1. Other times it resets the IP address but not the password. Over the last four months I have spent hours with this thing. It was in use as a second AP,...

Strength

Low cost, good feature set

Weakness

Unreliable from day one.

Bottom Line

Run away. Although it installed reasonably well, it would quickly become a problem.

Summary

I've had this router for about a week. I saw a bunch of bad reviews, but the price was right and thought I would try it out. It was a little difficult to setup (I wouldn't suggest it if this is your first experience with setting up a wireless router)...

Strength

The price is right! Range is good. Speed is good (for G).

Weakness

A little difficult to setup. Upgrade the firmware

Bottom Line

I would recommend the Dlink DIR-615 for those that are computer and router savvy
