Modular Adapters are used in data communications for a variety of applications, and are an economical method of converting a D-Subminiature port/cable assembly to a modular jack. Because most data communication applications employ fewer than eight active lines (pins), use of modular adapters organize and simplify moves and changes of data communication equipment. When installed on data equipment, these modular adapters allow users to use low-cost modular twisted pair cabling. Belkin's modular adapters are available in kit form with and without the appropriate D-subminiature connector. They are also available pre-pinned per your specifications.
