Summary

Probably the best high-end graphic design monitor in its category. I haven't had this monitor for a long time, but every second I look at it is worthit and asks me to look at it again.

Strength

17 in Viewable size (unlike other mfg co's, cool design, integrated 2 USBs, on-monitor system power button, simple design, high resolution.

Weakness

Should have a bit wider viewable angle (although it's greater than its competitors)

Summary

This monitor has been rock solid for 3 3/4 years on constantly from 8AM to 11PM. The display picture is like the day I purchased it.I am saving to purchase a second and third for my sons. It may become obsolete with all the flat screens taking up less room but for the look and sharpness, this is the real deal.

Strength

Solid production with no down time.Cool look in a studio environment.

Weakness

Gives off a bit of heat above but no more than others. The cord could have been another 2 feet longer.

Summary

Yea right. If you want to waste your money, by all means by this monitor! I have had mine 14 months to the day when the Main deflection board went out. Spected out at $300.00 to fix. Funny how as the warrenty runs out, so does the useful life...

The main symptom is a blue shadow on every icon and window on the right side at 9300 degrees Kelvin, the factory setting.

If you want a matching graphite monitor and your heart is set on this model, DEFINITELY get the extended warrenty. But if you have your reservations, buy one with a 3 year manufacture's warrenty which can be had for less than $400.

Strength

Cool color matching design

Weakness

Reliability and apple support both stink

I wonder why this monitor started out at $500 dollars 6 months ago and is now at $279??? Anyway, my only problem with is monitor is that Apple did not use Diamondtron NF tubes but instead used the cylinder Diamondtron. I suspect the new low prices means Apple will be bring out these monitors with the Diamondtron NF tubes. Yes, they are sharp and the colors are bold and I love working with them!!!!

Strength

Diamondtron tube, bold colors, sharp text, awesome design case!!!!!

Weakness

non flat tube

Strength

Sharp text and good color saturation

Weakness

can't they get rid of that trinitron line?
