Strength Small size, 6' cable and good quality Weakness Don't set it near your speakers... Bottom Line The bottom line has been spotted on the web via the Quickcam Messenger... I got this camera on sale at Office Depot for $20 as a part of the Access Trio LE (which... Strength The Camera works fine, and you can get a great deal on it. Weakness iChatters need cameras to talk to you. May need to punch holes in firewall. Bottom Line A cheap camera that works without problems on a modern computer. The other reviews are outdated, and this cam should give you no problems. Logitech fails again.

I bought it due to the variety of features it has, such as: built in microphone, compatibility with all instant messenger programs, and frame per minute rate (up to 30fpm), and an easy to use still frame... Strength Good hardware, good FPM rate, decent sound with the built in microphone. Weakness Software doesn't work well at all, camera needs specific light conditions to be optimized. Bottom Line Logitech should focus more on their software. They did well with the hardware of this item. I would suggest it to experienced webcam users, but not to a newer user. Talk The Talk

Setting the camera up on the computer or the desk is easy. That is about as far as it goes. The software that Logitech gives you installs 6... Strength None that I can think of. Weakness Outdated software, partner company out of business, and much, much, more. Bottom Line I do not recommend this camera to anyone. It is way too much work, for such crappy quality. Decent low light picture quality. Relatively inexpensive. Sturdy design. Weakness Difficult to adjust positioning. Unreliable software package. Must subscribe to SpotLife for browser access. I ran it on a 1.3GHz HP Pavilion 531W Celeron with 384MB ram, integrated video running Win98SE and a 56K dialup connection. (Pitiful, I know, but that's all that's available). The camera itself is rugged, the focus... Strength Great picture quality, framerate, sharpness, contrast, color and very good low-light tolerance Weakness Included software is terrible, default camera settings awful, harsh glare from close lighting Bottom Line Hardware is great, software sucks. Adjusting the settings and downloading the latest drivers is a must. Not good for snapshots, although I am pretty critical :) Save your money.. buy a different cam
