Product Description The DUB-C2 is a Hi-Speed USB 2.0 2-port CardBus adapter that upgrades notebook computers to the new and faster USB standard. This card is designed to work with mice, keyboards, external CD-R/RWs, external hard drives, PC cameras, and all other USB enabled devices. It is 40 times faster than previous USB adapters and 20% faster than Firewire (IEEE-1394). Each of the two USB 2.0 ports transfers data at 480Mbps, making it ideal for external storage, backup, networking and digital video. ??The DUB-C2 is compatible with USB 2.0 standards and is backward compatible with USB 1.0 and USB 1.1 products. Although I've had some problems with DLink products and support in the past, the low price after a rebate convinced me to try it. It worked perfectly when I first tried it. Three days later I... Strength It worked perfectly at first without installing any drivers. (Win2K) Weakness It's a laptop product, but is not built well enough to handle motion without breaking.  |
