This iBook boasts a 1.33Ghz PPC processor for maximum speed. This is the fastest processor Apple has ever endowed on this 12" iBook. Apple beefed up this iBook... Strength Scrolling trackpad, TigerOS X, iLife, ATI9550gfx , 512 MB RAM, 40HD space, Bluetooth, great value. Weakness Zero- consumer level. Professional level---speed. DVI connections. No superdrive(DVD burner) for this model. Bottom Line I recommend this computer on it's value to the customer. I think it'll offer many years of service and will fit their needs. The dealer installed this new keyboard and the space bar issue has been resolved perfectly. Based on the... Strength Battery Life, Size, Low Decibels, Supplied Software, Design, Price Point. Weakness Light on Memory, Space bar requires too much pressure. Bottom Line If you are looking for a simple to use computer that you can depend on and trust, then buy an iBook G4. Strength Lovely Weakness Soon to be obsolete with Intel chips coming; plastic easily scratched. Bottom Line Wish they would sell a SuperDrive with the 12 inch First Apple in a long time, and not the last.

Strength Easy, obvious, pleasing interface. Superb stable operation. Interfaces well on networks with PCs. Weakness Gets a little warm. Dimmed screen is really dim. Would have liked a wide-screen. Bottom Line Absolutely sold. I believe I am a permanent convert to Apple. |
