Product Description

Planon's newest scanner, the DocuPen R700, includes a rechargeable feature that allows the DocuPen to remain perpetually charged without utilizing a separate charging unit. Once a user plugs the DocuPen R700 into a computer's USB port to download the scanned information, the scanner's batteries are automatically recharged. The DocuPen R700 also features a dual-roller guiding system and optical registration technology to enhance the user experience by creating a smoother scanning operation and a more accurate scan. The dual-roller guiding system includes strategically placed rollers around the scanner lens to distribute operator's pressure evenly for smooth and easy scans. Using optical registration technology, the DocuPen R700, can create a highly accurate scan using its optical timing and registration system.

Portable, fast, easy to scan, scan without your computer.

Weakness

Resolution and bits/pixel are low; scans not always straight.

Bottom Line

If you are away from a photocopier frequently, or want to go paper free, then get it.

Small, portable, gee-whiz factor, automatically rechargeable batteries

Average image quality, takes practice to use.

Bottom Line

A unique product - a pocket sized scanner. Lots of wow factor!
