The AXIS 292 Network Video Decoder can convert one stream of MPEG-2 or Motion JPEG video and audio from an Axis network video product into analog signals. This allows analog video devices such as regular TV sets, analog monitors and existing analog video switches to be connected to an Axis IP-based video system. Via an Ethernet network such as a LAN or corporate network, the AXIS 292 takes a stream of digital video and audio from a specified Axis network camera or video server, and converts it in real-time into high quality, analog signals.
