Strength Fast processor, mp3s, shoots still and video images, SD expansion slot, cool apps included, customizable. Weakness No flash for camera. No cover for camera lens. No printed manual. No keyboard. Bottom Line If you're looking for a full-featured PDA with lots of neat gizmos built in, you will be hard pressed to find a better one. Palm Zire 72s: "Silver" Is Gold

The makers of the original Palm Pilot have been through many generations of the handheld electronic organizer, many of which I've owned. In the Zire 72s, a lot of the flaws in previous Palm units are... Strength Larger, brighter, crisper color LCD than low-end Palm units, fast processor, built-in digital camera. Weakness Might be a bit pricey for those seeking to spend under $150. Bottom Line The Zire 72s is a stylish Palm that corrects many of Palm's earlier missteps. Its beautiful color LCD, SD card slot, and digital camera make this a must-have. Great for the PDA first timer or the seasoned pro!

Strength Very Mac friendly, easy setup, stylish, fast, availability of software to enhance your handheld experiences! Weakness Web only accessible via 5 Bluetooth cell phone models, auto shuts down too quickly! Bottom Line I would highly recommend this one - the Zire 72 is the best of the Zire line and as much a workhorse as the much more expensive ones. Palm's Most Well-Rounded Handheld

Strength Sleek pocketable design, fast processor, video/voice recorder modes, adequate storage space, included software package Weakness Exposed camera lens, no camera flash, long camera lag time, poor battery life Bottom Line Fast, portable, and reliable. Dependable, easy to use, very functional--with a wide-range of useful included and add-on software. Integrated digital camera is a nice touch and useful. AWESOME PDA

I'd had nothing but trouble with HP PDAs and the HP warranties aren't worth the paper they're printed on, so I figured I'd try out a Palm product. I searched... Strength feature set: memory card slot, camera, bright screen, Multi-media, wifi/bluetooth. Standard connections. Weakness Whine, charging connection not covered and always open to dust, some windows incompatibilities. Bottom Line Has something for everyone from newbie to geek. Worth passing on to your kid when business needs require more, but that may be a while. All that power in the palm of your hand!

After some study, I opted for a Palm Zire 72 and I am very pleased with the features. Important to me, the Zire 72 has Palm's suite of information... Strength Excellent functions for the money, easy to use, plenty of features. Weakness Battery is not replaceable, no WiFi. No desktop cradle Bottom Line As as PDA, I give this full marks. If you need internet and phone, you might consider a Treo or other model. Ergonomics are good, many features. Fun to use Good mid level PDA, solid performer
