Never in my wildest dreams did I think that bookshelf sized speakers could fill a whole room, (a room without full walls mind you, it's a porch), with mellifluous melodies. Any audiophile would... Strength Impressive price, impressively accurate sound reproduction. Weakness Country of origin (made in China), is the only potential concern for some buyers. Bottom Line Highly reccomended, accurate sound reproduction. Definitely better speakers than what the competition has come up with. Incredible Bargain

I have a home office and listen to on-line stations for the most part - jazz and classical . The clarity of these speakers at low volume is excellent. And... Strength Excellent sound and build quality for the cost. Weakness The on/off switch is located on the subwoofer. A royal pain. spectacular highs, great lows, mid-range somewhat lacking

The highs are spectacular -- better than anything I've heard from any speaker. The sub woofer is very good... I mean, I barely turn the dial past zero... Strength incredible, clear highs; way more volume than I'll ever need; excellent sub Weakness mid-range is absent; you might have to get on all fours to turn it on/off Don't waste your time

I started playing songs at a low volume, and it sounded great. But as soon as I turned the volume up to a decent level, the subwoofer could... Strength Affordable. Weakness Subwoofer can't handle high volumes, speakers are not trustworthy even out of the box. Amazing room filling sound!

I was just looking for a pair of reasonably priced speakers with good sound for my computer. These are THX certified and sound absolutely amazing! Every time someone comes over I crank up the sound... Strength Amazing room filling sound! Clear and bright, they make mp3's sound like albums! Weakness Power switch is on the back of the sub. Excellent Speakers at great price

Written By xieqi_pei Date Written Apr 18 2008 Summary I had a set of $1200 NHT Pro monitors hooked up to my mac to listen to music and do some sound editing in Soundtrack Pro, but it was a pain to have to get an interface (M-Audio) to hook the 1/4" balanced outputs to. It's a lot of clutter on the desktop... Strength Easy setup, excellent sound quality. Easily accessible volume and subwoofer controls. Great price. Weakness None yet.  |
