Summary

The 12" Powerbook G4 1.5 gigahertz notebook is the best notebook computer I've owned. Is it still relevant? Very much so. This is the last of the 12" models that Apple manufactured. After this, Apple moved to the Intel chips and released the...

Strength

Form factor is brilliant. Keyboard. Standard features. OS X.

Weakness

One button trackpad. Annoying trackpad. Only two USB ports!

Bottom Line

The 12" Powerbook remains a popular model today. It's still quite relevant. I love it. Check out the review.

Summary

Never before have I made such a 180 degree switch in opinions; it is remarkable what actually owning an apple does for your impression of them. Now I will admit, the only thing I hate more than fashion is when functional things try to be fashionable...

Strength

Perfect balance of portability and performance. More stock features than any other Notebook

Weakness

You better love iTunes. Soft monitor enclosure.

Bottom Line

Best in class for portability, power and features. A real no brainer

Summary

Before moving entirely over to Mac's, I had been an avid Think-Pad user. My favorite in IBM's line was a 560. It most closely resembles this PBook, at least in my own experience with this 12" unit. The build quality is excellent, having no flex when...

Strength

Size, reliability, display, keyboard feel.

Weakness

Built in display latch does not always catch.

Bottom Line

It is great being able to just open up the display and begin using it immediately without having to think "will it lock up this time".

Summary

If the great performance and stylish casing didn't win me over, Mac's OSX Tiger is sure to convert the most hardcore windows user. I love everything about my new PowerBook. It outperforms any Windows PC I've used and it's small enough and light enough...

Strength

Great Case, Great Performance, Great Operating System

Weakness

Poor Windows Media Compatibility, Case can warp if you aren't careful.
