Now, only a few months later I added the 4 GByte version to my collection for almost the same price. Technically, the only difference is in the capacity,... Strength acclaimed performance, reasonable pricing, included data recovery software, supposedly included RAW software Weakness Capture One software code only in marked boxes, speed and temperature range less essential Bottom Line At now $100 after rebate, this is a no-brainer for reliability and brand name. Look for marked boxes for the PhaseOne software. For tough environments and long assignments, the SanDisk Extreme III 4 GB gets it done.

Weakness Expensive, many devices can't yet take advantage of its speed capabilities. Bottom Line Highly recommended for digital SLRs that are subjected to tough working conditions. Very fast write and read times, good reliability, and enough memory to get through longer assignments.  |
