The Hawking Technologies Wireless Signal Booster for 802.11b and 802.11g WiFi networks is a unique device that boosts the signal and performance of your wireless network. The average power output of standard wireless access points is under 90mW, While the Hawking HSB2 is capable of boosting power output to a staggering 500mW!!! The Hawking Wireless Signal Booster connects to the antenna connector of any device that has a removable antenna. The connector is a standard SMA connection. If your device does not have an SMA connector, you will need to purchase a jumper cable for the following brands: Linksys (HACST), Apple (HACSA), Buffalo (HACSM). The HSB2 is the perfect solution for covering large areas in multiple environments.

I had marginal wi-fi reception and bought one of these at Best Buy. I connected it up expecting to get "up to 600%" signal improvement but there was no improvement at all. It doesn't seem to amplify the signal either way as far as I could tell. When...

Worked great. It easily doubled my network area and strenght. I have it installed to a base line linksys router and can connect at least to 600 feet away through on the other side of another house. I also tried it in my neighbors house at about 400...
