I use it with a normal apple keyboard, a Macally wireless bluetooth mini mouse with scrollwheel and a non-Apple wireless modem/router. After years of using... Strength Compactness, design, user friendly Weakness Limited expandibility, price, video players. Bottom Line I like the compact all-in-one design so much that I will buy an iMac again in the future. Only if very heavy CPU performance is needed I would look further. This is one Apple that's not rotten!

The current G5 is a one piece configuration with everything hidden or built-in right in back of the LCD screen... Strength Great design, clear screen totally compact! Weakness Be careful of the LCD screen, as it can be damaged! Bottom Line This is one great computer, easy to use , with a great ergonomic design! Time will tell if it will hold up for the future! Best Machine Apple ever made!

Written By zerotsm Date Written Aug 03 2006 Summary Introduction: I was running a "Blue" G3 for a long time, but it was showing it's age, and with Apple abandoning the Power PC chips, I figured that I had better upgrade now, or else I would not be able to run my "Classic" programs if that G3... Strength Runs OS-X as well as "Classic" OS9 programs. Weakness Not upgradeable. No longer available. Factory mouse too sensitive to mouse clicks. Bottom Line If you have old System 9 software that you still want to run, and also need to upgrade to OS-X for other reasons, this is the computer to buy. Computing made fun again

Stacked spec to spec against most PC's the price really is very reasonable. I got my iMac G5 20" with built in Airport (Wi-Fi, G) and Bluetooth for $1600... Strength Small Footprint, Huge Screen, Built-in Everything (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Screen, Etc..) Weakness Looks too good, all my other stuff looks like crap now. Bottom Line Take the Mac plunge and you won't regret it. Great Computer, Easy to Use
