Summary

2 Sept. 2005: I bought an Apple iMac G5, 20", 2GHz, 1 GB memory, built-in Airport and bluetooth. I use it with a normal apple keyboard, a Macally wireless bluetooth mini mouse with scrollwheel and a non-Apple wireless modem/router. After years of using...

Strength

Compactness, design, user friendly

Weakness

Limited expandibility, price, video players.

Bottom Line

I like the compact all-in-one design so much that I will buy an iMac again in the future. Only if very heavy CPU performance is needed I would look further.

Strength

Great design, clear screen totally compact!

Weakness

Be careful of the LCD screen, as it can be damaged!

Bottom Line

This is one great computer, easy to use , with a great ergonomic design! Time will tell if it will hold up for the future!

Summary

Introduction: I was running a "Blue" G3 for a long time, but it was showing it's age, and with Apple abandoning the Power PC chips, I figured that I had better upgrade now, or else I would not be able to run my "Classic" programs if that G3...

Strength

Runs OS-X as well as "Classic" OS9 programs.

Weakness

Not upgradeable. No longer available. Factory mouse too sensitive to mouse clicks.

Bottom Line

If you have old System 9 software that you still want to run, and also need to upgrade to OS-X for other reasons, this is the computer to buy.

Small Footprint, Huge Screen, Built-in Everything (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Screen, Etc..)

Weakness

Looks too good, all my other stuff looks like crap now.

Bottom Line
