The old Mustek was a parallel port scanner and there was no driver for Windows XP that would work... Strength Lightweight, compact, high quality images, no extra power adapter. Weakness None. It is quiet, small, has the four buttons on the front which are handy and the main reason I bought it was because it is powered by the USB connection! It also works well with my Mac running OS 10.4.2... Strength USB Powered, good quality scans Weakness OS X users are used to much nicer software than this I am very happy with this scanner!

I've started an on-going project of scanning in old photos from our photo albums so that they will be forever protected. I've scanned about... Strength Low price but seems well made.
