Strength USB Connection, decent suite of software, decent speed, basic color correction capability Weakness 35mm only, software has a few annoying quirks Bottom Line Easy to use, cheap film scanner for 35mm film/slides. Needs a few software tweaks to the interface but is otherwise an excellent product. Good amateur 35mm scanner for home!

I'm glad I got a chance to use this before actually spending money to buy it. Strength USB; Cheap; Easy to adjust scanned images Weakness Just about everything else Bottom Line Avoid even if it's free! There were way to many problems to make this worthwhile. Good value for money

I was hesitant at first but I am now really glad I bought this scanner. It was easy to install and generally works fine - at least in color. Strength Price, Size Weakness Slow scan, no "dust off" in software Bottom Line If money is an issue this film scanner gives the best bang for the buck. Don't waste your money!

I also set up an outside drive in theater for the summer showing about a half dozen movies. It managed to give a good quality picture on a screen 8 feet...
