Weakness

no attached protective cover

Bottom Line

I would recommend this for beginners and parents looking for an organizer for their kids.

Weakness

Nothing I have found

Bottom Line

This is great for those who are looking to organize their lives.

Summary

Introduction Back in the early 1980's, I recall discussing Moore's law. We had determined that by around 2005, people would have the power of some of the most expensive workstation and mainframe computers in something about the size of a pocket...

Strength

Durable, easy to use, quite flexible and powerful, price is right

Weakness

Warranty sucks, no expansion capability, batteries are sealed inside

Bottom Line

This is best for beginners, students, business executives and gadget lovers. A few shortcomings, but still worth the price.

Summary

This little beauty has really been marketed as a palm pilot for the novice PDA user: something simple enough not to scare your grandma and easy enough to wean Luddites from their sticky notes. I don't fit in that demographic, but I love this PDA for its...

Strength

Small, light, looks cool, non-volatile memory, very cheap.

Weakness

This version of PalmOS removes important options.

Bottom Line

Buy it. If what you are looking for is a PDA and not a laptop in your pocket, this is perfect.

I got this as a backup to my TX which I lost. This was a special promotional package it seems because I got 2 colored plastic rubber covers and a set of international AC plug adaptors for same price of $99. The AC adaptor, charger now supports...

Strength

Small and light, USB, international charger, different plugs for different countries, free plastic covers.

Weakness

Display is too low resolution, loading photos complicated, price too high, looks like ipod

Bottom Line

Not many to choose from these days, good backup but not for power users or business.

Summary

When I went shopping and ultimately purchased the Palm z22, I was replacing a Handspring Visor Neo that I had had since 2001. It was definitely time for an upgrade. But I did not need a lot of features -- I didn't need to access the Internet, I didn't...

Strength

Small, lightweight, easy to use, syncs easily w/Mac, inexpensive

Weakness

Everything has to look like an iPod now? Also cases, screen protectors

Bottom Line

This is the perfect PDA for users needing easy of use and basic functions with an inexpensive price. Great for Mac users because of easy syncing.

Summary

I was thinking over the last year about an organizer. I go to school, and using an agenda was alright, but I don't think i'd take it with me to an outing to remember a friend's birthday. Or play a game. Or remember all my homework, be able to categorize,...

Strength

Lightweight, Shortcut buttons, 5-way Navigator, Big(ger) reset button

Weakness

Freezes occassionally if you 'turn off & lock'

Bottom Line

My final recommendation on the Z22 is a definite yes. As I said in my review, anyone who wants something functional and s imple, then look no further.

Summary

The Palm Z22 is cheap, and for a good reason: it's a very cheaply made PDA with a processor supplied by a third-world manufacturer. Its memory (about 18MB actually accessible to the end user) is also very slow, and cannot be expanded. But, you say,...

Strength

Cheap

Weakness

Cheaply built; cheap looking; slow processor; little RAM; very poor non-color screen; terrible

Bottom Line

The Z22 is a true disgrace to the Palm brand name and is not good for anyone. Spend a little more for a much more powerful and useable Windows Mobile.

Summary

My husband bought me this Palm Z22 as a Christmas gift, a year and a half ago. I love that it was so small and functional. The ability of putting all my address and e-mails in there was a huge plus. It’s great to be able to just plug it into my home...

Strength

Small, handy to hold addresses and e-mails.

Weakness

Too hard to write things out.

Bottom Line

I would not buy this unless you are a simple person and you don't mind lettering in each word or note you want.
