The Sound Blaster X-Fi XtremeMusic sound card harnesses the full power of the Creative X-Fi Xtreme Fidelity audio processor to upgrade any existing library of MP3 or any music files to the Xtreme Fidelity audio standard. With the X-Fi Xtreme Fidelity 24-bit Crystalizer, MP3 music and movies are converted to Xtreme Fidelity, which delivers an experience beyond the original CD or DVD recordings.

Great sound, great price, and just an overall quality product.

Weakness

Cannot rip to .mp3 format out of the box.

Bottom Line

One of the best affordable computer upgrades anyone could buy if they use their computer for any of the following: Gaming, Music, Movies.

Strength

Amazing sound! Surround works brilliantly in games and DVD. Easy setup. Decent software suite.

Weakness

No more standard inputs. No automatic mode switching.

Bottom Line

Hate the lack of standard inputs. Love everything else about the card. Certainly recommend if you're looking for Xtremely good sound quality.
