I had purchased an inexpensive REGENT 2.1 system which was better than the Plasma TV speakers, but... Strength Excellent clean smooth sound. Surround sound. High quality. Weakness May need additional speaker wire for rear channels. Bottom Line Much better sound than many home theater systems costing $100-$200 or more. Detailed highs. Excellent midrange/voice. Good bass. Superb sound quality
