Summary

Those awful speakers that come with most computers tend to be tinny, horrible, underpowered and too small. If you're looking for an inexpensive upgrade to that awful junk that's typically shipped with new computers, you simply can't go wrong with a pair...

Strength

Good bass; portable; fantastic sound reproduction; great price

Weakness

Not as "deep" as speakers that come with a subwoofer

Bottom Line

Do your ears a favor. Throw out that set of cheap speakers that came with your computer and upgrade to a set of these.

Summary

I use these speakers whenever I travel, which is about 7 days per month. I like their sleek silver finish, which matches most laptop finishes. They have a very simplistic design, and are very easy to use. They simply have a volume knob and a headphone...

Strength

Good Sound, Compact Design, Sleek Finish, Durable

Weakness

No 1/8" mini input, Large AC Adapter, A Little Heavy

Bottom Line

I believe that these speakers are a good balance of design, features, and audio quality. For their size and price, they'd be hard to beat.

No manual level adjustments, no remote

Bottom Line

Amazing Bose sound for less than $100. These are a godsend for laptops, flat panel monitors, MP3 players, and whatever other uses you can dream up.

Was swayed by the price and the Bose reputation. I've been using cheap Altec Lansing speakers for years. When I plugged in these, it was like a glaucoma patient after an operation who can suddenly see. Now I can suddenly hear. I'm amazed at the...

Strength

Remarkable bass response, clear treble, room filling volume. Headphone jack is a plus. Pleasing design.

Weakness

Wires. No balance or tone adjustments (not needed).
