The operating system may be some version of the new Microsoft Vista and you suddenly realize that all the data on old computer that you need (or just want) is on your old computer... Strength Fast and efficient. Weakness Not as easy as it sounds. Bottom Line The other methods of transferring files are tedious. *IF/WHEN* it works, it's a great product

Written By nd4spd Date Written Dec 27 2007 Summary Ever since the USB specification became popular I had been looking for a good replacement for the good 'ol Laplink cables I once used to transfer files between PCs. Recently Belkin introduced one such product called the "Easy Transfer Cable". I was... Strength Fairly easy set-up. Included Laplink PC Sync software works well. Weakness Obvious software driver issues with the product. Bottom Line My final recommendation is to avoid this product until Belkin gets the driver issue sorted out.  |
