Product Description

The Wireless-N Home Router is really three devices in one box. First, there's the Wireless Access Point, which lets you connect to the network without wires. There's also a built-in 4-port full-duplex 10/100 Switch to connect your wired-Ethernet devices together. Finally, the Router function ties it all together and lets your whole network share a high-speed cable or DSL Internet connection.

Summary

I purchased this on sale for $99 at Staples. I had previously used a wired Linksys router and had very good results with it, so I stuck with the same brand. In addition to the wireless capability of this router, there are also four wired ports for...

Strength

Affordable, signal strength, latest security features

Weakness

Can be difficult to setup, LED lights are not very bright and hard to read.

Bottom Line

If I would not have had trouble with the setup because of the Installation Wizard not working, I would have nothing to complain about.

full house coverage

Weakness

only 1 year warranty, generates heat

Piece of JUNK. Bought this to replace a 300N Linksys, which was also junk. Cannot send an effective, stable signal 50 feet. Customer support answer after HOURS on line with them was "MOVE YOUR COMPUTER." Distance does not matter - the signal is...

Strength

It will make a nice loud crunch when I smash it with a sledgehammer.

Weakness

My dog and cat have heard awful language because of this junk.
