Summary

I bought the HTC Mogul (ppc 6800) recently because Microsoft had just come out with Mobile 6. Since my two other microsoft phones (motorola Q and ppc 6700) had the latter versions, moving to the PPC 6800 was justified. The mogul actually replaced the ppc...

thinner, lighter than the old ppc 6700. Windows mobile 6 is the best.

Weakness

still a little bulky. boot up slow.

Bottom Line

The mogul is a business executives dream along with Microsoft's new Mobile 6 OS.

Summary

Decided to upgrade my Sprint flip phone to something more powerful/capable. Opted out of the Blackberry world and decided to go with the Mogul. I love the integration with Windows Vista and how I can do so much with my phone all at the same time...

Strength

Keyboard, bluetooth, GPS, WM6 (office, email), micro SD, Wi-Fi

Weakness

Larger screen, camera isn't too great, no MMS (picturemail) or SprintTV, earpiece volume

Bottom Line

Unbelievably powerful device with amazing potential for the serious user. Minor things are keeping it from being a 5-star.

Summary

I have owned this device for just over 1 month. I bought it because I'd heard good things about HTC, and because it had great tech specs, including a touch-screen, wi-fi, full keyboard, a beefy primary processor, and a dedicated secondary graphics...

Strength

Built-in wi-fi, touch-screen, keyboard

Weakness

Slow and unresponsive. Secondary graphics processor isn't used at all, overloading primary processor.

Bottom Line

If HTC won't provide drivers for the Graphics CPU, I cannot recommend this device. Hopefully HTC will come to their senses because it has so much potential.

The Windows Mobile 6 operating system is buggy and inconsistent. The operating system would not recognize a micro SD card. The wireless synch (for email) interferred with active synch for files. The backspace key sometimes deleted characters behind it...

Strength

Excellent screen and hardware.

Weakness

Windows Mobile 6 is a travesty.
