It's a freakin' phone, not the second coming of Christ but you wouldn't think that is the case with new iPhone owners. Two weeks ago the bedlam began; Tommy wanted to get his hands on the... Strength No-glare screen, internet browsing, built-in iPod, 8 gigs of memory. Weakness Can take a while to get used to the touch screen and all the functions. Bottom Line Can you really live with an iPhone addict? Welcome to the i-Revolution !

After all the media hoopla and noise over this much anticipated product, my inner gadget geek was doing cartwheels when I heard the release date of 06/29. It is darn sure to catapult AAPL to over $160 per share... Strength Museum quality design, large screen, virtual keyboard, excellent web browser & video/music player Weakness Runs on dinky ATT wireless, no copy/cut/paste, no flash cards, limited add-on software Bottom Line This is a superb media player, has a fast web browser, but with mediocre telephone/PDA functionality. It does not work on Verizon Wireless. Not as versatile as the Treo The Regular Chick and The Apple iPhone.

Strength easy to use, does the job of 3 different devices Weakness expensive, internet and typing could use some improvement, must use AT&T Bottom Line The iPhone didn't disappoint. I love it! Strength Easy to use, fun to play with, works well, lots of great features! Weakness No discounts on service. Who knows what bugs could be lurking? Bottom Line I love its sleek design, ease of use, colorful display, and quick access to email and the web. It packs a lot of features into a great little package. I bought an Apple TV recently to have them come out with a better version three months later. I bought a Playstation 3, and now... Strength gorgeous screen, easy to use, fun. Weakness ...but it was supposed to be a phone too. Bottom Line If you absolutely must have an iPhone, go for it; but, if you're looking for a good product, hold out for 2nd or 3rd generation. I caved... got one (first generation) but no regrets so far!

Weakness Generation 1, lacks storage, short battery life, email flow could be better Bottom Line If you expect this to be a phone/ ipod, go for it! If you expect this to replace your Blackberry or be your mobile command center... well, good luck. Without question, the best phone I've ever owned

Strength Great for music, syncing calendars, sending email, browsing web, no HotSync bullcrap and it's moddable. Weakness Horrible bluetooth, no cut and paste; would love more hard drive space. No Safari javascript. Bottom Line You want no nonsense web browsing, sending email, texting, decent phone quality and superior mp3 playback on a phone? The iPhone is your answer. So here's the real deal on this Apple, with a small worm in it!

My service provider prior to this was Verizon and it absolutely stunk in this area! No service at all! They had promised me for two years that it would improve, but it never did... Strength Unique styling, no buttons except POWER and HOME! Weakness Has some things that have to be worked out, some serious! Bottom Line There are a few "bugs" that have to be worked out with either software or hardware revisions, but still a gorgeous piece of electronics! The Smartphone For The Rest of Us - and it may save your job!
